I captured this beautiful snow scene along the North Fork of the Blackfoot River. I loved the way the snow sparkled in the sunlight like diamonds. The willows were bursting with color. I begin each pastel with a watercolor underpainting on sanded Wallis paper and then layer pastels on the piece.
