Autumn on Tin Cup Creek

This pastel is a larger work created from a plein air study I made this fall along Tin Cup Creek which is located on the Chief Joseph Ranch near Darby, MT. I was so captivated by the reflections of the autumn foliage in the water as it meandered over the rocks in the creek. I loved how brilliant and vibrant the colors are using the pastel medium.
