I have always loved the sea and seashore. I grew up swimming at my Italian grandmother's place in Rocky waters. However, living in California, I would go to the sandy beaches. I saw this young girl digging in the sand and couldn't resist the opportunity to capture sun, surf, and the sparkling joy of childhood.
