Sunset in Riverdale

I was leaving art class late one afternoon when I saw this beautiful view from the parking lot. I took the photo and had to make some changes of course. I had to eliminate houses with fences and add more trees in the distance as well as removing unwanted lines and poles. I love the light and the calmness of the sunset over the smooth, fresh snow. The feeling of calm and peace is something I enjoy adding in my work.
