I started originally with pastel pencils during Covid lockdown. After many years of taking a break, and I decided to try soft pastels. This is from a tutorial with David Johnson and using some other tips and philosophical ideas from other virtual instructors, I tried my hand at realism along with the "art form" of what you can do with Soft Pastels.
