Heat Wave Begonias

I looked at the composition and it reminded me of the work of Janet Fish. The patterns and the outdoor setting with bright high key light gave me that thrill. I loved the bit of a birdseye view that allowed the lines of the decking to drive the eye back and forth to the flowers. The flowers twist and turn moving the eye around the composition as well. It is mainly a complimentary color piece that blows up the green and red possibilities on a hot summer day.
