I was so inspired by the unique, peaceful sleeping pose of my cat curled up in a fetal position, I knew I had to draw this in pastel! I made several small sketches, but didn’t attempt the final piece for two years. I used several forms of pastels including pans, sticks and pencils. This is my largest pastel work to date.
