Out to Pasture

I used UART 400 paper pre-mounted on backing board. I use pastels with alcohol wash for the underpainting, then a variety of pastels for the finish work.
On an errand to this farm outside of town, i found these 2 old trucks out behind the barn and was immediately struck by their charm even in decrepitude. I felt a certain kinship with them, mulled over my reference photos for a year or so and then took the challenge.
