At the Beach
The inspiration for this painting came from one of my favorite family photos of my daughter, son, niece and nephew. The site of the photo is my brother’s pool; changed in this painting to reflect the wonder and love of being at the ocean.
The process included monochromatic studies and color studies. There is a blue underpainting which peaks through to bring reference back to the ocean.
