A Maine Morning
Up until this painting, I had been coping pictures off of Pinterest. At 70, I got involved with art classes on YouTube. I started in watercolors then discovered pastels. I fell in love. This is my third original painting. My inspiration was a photo I took while vacationing in Maine. I started with an underpainting on Canson Mi-Teintes paper and just kept painting until I was happy with it. I am both thrill and scared to enter my first painting in a contest.
