This was the last of the paddle-boat ferries still in service on Lake Como when I visited. When I caught the reference photo she was pulling back out from the dock and spinning around to head back down the lake-it just felt like the spunky lady-of-the-lake was kicking up her heels and crying "Let's Go!" It just spoke to me of the spirit of adventure of a by-gone age.
