Soft Pastel on Canson Touch. I was looking for a way to portray myself in both a traditional and traditional manner. The challenge was to create an image in pastel that looked like a photo, then create a perception of myself from the photo, and lastly to add an additional layer of reality by showing my arm in the process of an entire pastel creation.
