For this piece I wanted to create a bold, colorful portrait where cool colors are next to warm tones and complimentary colors are repeated throughout the painting to create harmony. I purposely left the background raw and blended the portrait to have different textures. Materials used were charcoal gray Pastelmat and soft pastels.
