Halia, the Hunting Labrador is made in Soft Pastels and Pastel pencils of various brands, with a background of Pan Pastels, on a surface of Clairfontaine Pastelmat Buttercup coloured paper. When drawing a dog, the expression of her/his face and eyes is what inspires me and that is what makes me connect with the piece of art that I am doing.
