Summer Exuberance
So much color was infused in this late afternoon summer scene, and I did my best to amplify the color to convey the sense of joy felt observing this scene. Painted on Uart 500, a magenta and purple toned underpainting was created using pastel and alcohol. Dry pastel was then layered overtop to fully develop the wild grasses and distant tree line.
