I grew up with a Mother who was a couture seamstress and I developed a love of beautiful fashion. I have always admired the work of one of the most famous couturiers in France in the mid 1900's. Balenciaga was known for his lush fabrics which were often embellished with silk embroidered flowers. This piece pays tribute to his artistry.
