Fred Playing Piano
Pastels continue to be my medium of choice. Holding a short stump of pastel offers a close, intimate connection to the surface. Pushing the pigment around and layering the colors is energizing. Capturing the energy of my subject matter is what I seek. This piece is the second in a series of musicians. It is a change from the Plein air work that I also enjoy.
